I’m Alexandra Dobson from Pennsylvania. I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember, drawing inspiration from the great artists who made up my childhood in film and media. From drawing to painting, I used hands-on experiences, learning from art books to teach myself and help hone my craft. In college, I took courses in art to broaden my horizon and it kick-started my focus on watercolor painting. From there I seized the opportunity to learn from acclaimed Disney animators Aaron Blaise and Ronnie Williford, further developing my skills with the medium.

With my work in watercolor, I took to painting still life flowers and vegetation as well as painting animal portraits. I love capturing the bright vibrant colors of the plant life and with my pet portraits I understand the impact there is in capturing these beautiful critters with loving care for their people to cherish.

Art has always been a passion of mine and nothing gets me more excited than working on a new project. I look forward to working with new clients and produce new pieces to share with them.
